What this equipment is designed to solve

The scrubber cleans the gas upon contact with the irrigating liquid: the particles are wetted and removed into the liquid phase, and the soluble components can be absorbed using a reagent. The hollow, packed or venturi circuit is selected according to the task.

The degree of purification depends on the dust dispersion, gas solubility, liquid flow rate, contact speed and process chemistry. The target indicator, body material, water treatment and sludge removal are determined by calculation and recorded in the technical proposal.

Frequently Asked Questions

When the flow is hot (up to 400+ °C at the inlet), the dust is sticky or wet, the gas contains soluble harmful components or the environment is explosive – dry filters in such conditions become clogged or are not applicable. If dry cleaning is sufficient, a cyclone with a bag or cartridge filter is cheaper to operate.

Yes. Soluble gases are absorbed by the irrigation fluid (absorption); For acidic and alkaline components, a neutralization reagent is dosed into the liquid. Gas efficiency is up to 95+% depending on the reagent and nozzle.

A sludge removal system, water treatment and a pump group with recirculation of the irrigation liquid, as well as a droplet eliminator at the outlet. The body material is selected according to the chemistry of the environment: stainless steel, polypropylene, fiberglass or lining.
