ABL Engineering Group performsconcrete and reinforced concrete works in the section of quality of life design documentation: foundations for buildings and technological equipment, monolithic structures, grillages, anchor groups. The company specializes in industrial facilities: metallurgy, mining, energy.
The company has been operating since 2003, the engineering direction of ABL – since 2009. More than 40 specialized projects were completed in 10+ industries. All work is carried out according toSN RK and design documentation on the basis of the state license for construction and installation works of category II No. 17014063. The office and production base are in Temirtau, teams travel throughout Kazakhstan.

Scope of work in the QOL section
We carry out a full range of concrete and reinforced concrete works:
- Equipment foundations— for ventilation units, gas purification equipment, filters, smoke exhausters, industrial furnaces, including massive foundations with embedded parts;
- Foundations of buildings and structures– columnar, strip, slab;
- Grillages— monolithic grillages on pile foundations;
- Monolithic structures— walls, columns, ceilings, pits, channels;
- Reinforcement— knitting and welding of reinforcement frames and meshes according to KZh drawings;
- Formwork work— installation and dismantling of formwork, including complex curved shapes;
- Anchor groups and embedded parts— installation with geodetic alignment for subsequent installation of metal structures and equipment.

Stages of work execution
Work on the QOL section is carried out in the following sequence:
- Study of the project. Analysis of design drawings, reinforcement and concrete specifications, reference to site conditions.
- Preparatory work. Laying out axes, excavation work, preparation for foundations.
- Reinforcement and formwork. Assembly of reinforcement cages, installation of formwork, installation of embedded parts and anchor groups with geodetic alignment.
- Concreting. Laying concrete mixture with compaction, control of mobility and temperature conditions, care of concrete while gaining strength.
- Control and surrender. Testing of control samples of concrete, hidden work reports, as-built diagrams, transfer of documentation to the customer.

What determines the cost of concrete work?
The cost is calculated according to the design drawings and bills of quantities. The price is affected by:
- volume of concrete and class of concrete mixture according to the project;
- consumption and diameters of reinforcement, complexity of reinforcement;
- type and turnover of formwork, geometry of structures;
- quantity and accuracy of installation of embedded parts and anchor groups;
- site conditions: cramped conditions, work in an active production facility, season;
- distance of the object.

Yes, a significant part of our facilities are operating production facilities in metallurgy, mining and energy. We coordinate the work schedule with the customer’s technological services, issue permits and carry out work without stopping the main production, where possible.
The strength of concrete is confirmed by testing control samples in a certified laboratory. The position of anchor bolts and embedded parts is verified geodetically before and after concreting, the results are recorded in as-built diagrams that are transferred to the customer.
