Engineering solution
What this equipment is designed to solve
The cartridge filter is used for fine purification of dry gas from fine dust. Dust is retained on the pleated material, and pulse blowing throws the layer into the hopper without stopping the entire system.
Filter material, area, filtration speed and residual dust content are selected according to the type of dust, temperature, humidity, stickiness, abrasiveness and site requirements. The exact cleaning indicator is published only after selection and confirmation by a passport or protocol.
Application
Suitable applications
- Metalworking, welding, plasma and laser cutting: welding aerosol, fine dust
- Shot blasting and abrasive processing
- Pharmaceuticals, food industry, powder coating: fine dust, hygienic requirements
- Finishing stage after the cyclone: metallurgy, mining, woodworking

Frequently Asked Questions
The cartridge version is more compact: the pleated material provides a larger filtration area in a small housing and finer purification – up to <5 mg/m³. The hose one wins at high costs and high initial dust content (up to 50+ g/m³). If the dust content is above 50 g/m³, a cyclone is placed in front of the cartridge filter or a bag filter is selected.
No. Pulse blowing with compressed air (pulse-jet) removes the dust layer from the cartridges as the resistance increases – without stopping the system. Dust is poured into the hopper and removed through the shutter.
According to the type of dust, temperature and requirements for residual dust: polyester – standard tasks up to 80 °C, antistatic – explosive dust, PTFE membrane and nanocoating – sticky and fine dust, hard maximum permissible concentrations, special materials – temperatures up to 200+ °C.
