Engineering solution

What this equipment is designed to solve

Infrared gas radiant heaterABL-LTV 40— vacuum tubular heater for zonal and local heating of high rooms. The heat exchanger pipe heats up to 200–500 °C, and the reflector directs infrared radiation down to people, equipment and the floor, without heating the air under the roof.

For high spans, hangars and arenas, infrared heating saves fuel25–35 % versus water systems: heat goes where it is needed, without heating the entire volume of the room.

Application

Suitable applications

  • High production spans
  • Hangars and warehouses
  • Sports arenas and aircraft hangars
  • Fire stations
  • Local heating zones for workplaces
  • Drying and technological areas

Frequently Asked Questions

The ABL-LTV series catalog indicates a guideline of 25–35% regarding water systems for high rooms. This is not a universal guarantee: savings are checked by calculating heat loss, installation height, operating mode and automation.

The recommended installation height is 4.8–6.9 m, the length of the radiating pipe is 9–15 m. The exact layout of the radiators by area will be calculated by an ABL engineer.

In high spans, hangars, sports arenas, fire stations and for local heating of workplaces – where heating the entire volume is ineffective.
