What this equipment is designed to solve
Centrifugal (radial) fanABL-XFB with backward inclined blades – the main industrial ABL series for moving dusty and gaseous air. The backward-inclined wheel is one of the most efficient types of centrifugal: high efficiency and static pressure up to 3,202 Pa with energy efficiency of the 2nd national level.
Series range –530 – 221,730 m³/h, engine power 0.25–220 kW. Four drive designs: integral frame (A) simplifies installation, belt drive (C) with water-cooled mounting designed for high ambient temperatures. Flow passage materials are galvanized or stainless steel, special coatings for aggressive environments.
The fan is selected not “by the diameter of the air duct”, but by the operating point – the intersection of the required flow rate and network pressure loss. An error at this point costs more than the fan itself: an overloaded motor, operation outside the efficiency zone, low-frequency hum. Selection according to the operating point is carried out by ABL engineers before ordering.
Together with the fan, ABL manufactures the piping for the actual flange – flexible inserts, transitions, bends, umbrellas, silencers, support frames and vibration supports – on its own machine park in Temirtau, and installs the system under a category II construction and installation license.

The fan operates at the intersection of its characteristics and the network characteristics. If you count “by diameter” or take it “with a reserve”, the motor is overloaded, efficiency drops, a low-frequency hum appears, and the hood either “doesn’t work” or drives out excess air. ABL engineers calculate the operating point from the actual network before ordering.
